 Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation, known as yogic sleep, though you are in a state of consciousness between being awake and asleep. For Yoga Nidra, you will be lying down and move into a deep state of conscious awareness- a deeper state of relaxation where you are aware, and not asleep, although you may fall asleep and drift in and out of sleep throughout the practice.
